Real saddle time across alpine pastures and crimson canyons to the turquoise, hard-to-reach Kel-Suu Lake — one of the most remote corners of Kyrgyzstan.
Multi-day riding through high valleys, nights in yurt camps and mountain guesthouses, nomad games at Song-Kul, and a full day in the saddle exploring Kel-Suu.
This is an active trip. Some basic comfort on a horse is recommended; we're happy to advise on fitness and experience before you book.
Welcome at Manas Airport and transfer to your hotel. Time permitting, see Ala-Too Square and the National Museum. In the evening, a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
Leave the city and drive to Kyzart, where the riding begins. Ride across scenic alpine pastures to a yurt camp in the Kilemche Valley, and enjoy a traditional dinner prepared by local nomads.
Ride through lush high pastures to Song-Kul, a jewel of the highlands. Join the nomad-culture program: yurt-building, Kok-Boru, Oodarysh wrestling on horseback, and Tyin Enmei. The afternoon is free by the lake.
Leave Song-Kul for lunch in Naryn, then continue through the layered crimson Kara-Kuldzha canyons. Arrive at Kel-Suu in the afternoon and settle into a mountain guesthouse under a star-filled sky.
A full day exploring Kel-Suu on horseback — ride along the turquoise lake and alpine meadows, stopping for photos and a picnic with panoramic mountain views. Total immersion in remote Kyrgyz nature.
Return to Bishkek with a lunch stop in Naryn and last views of Kyrgyzstan's mountains and valleys. A farewell dinner closes the adventure before your airport transfer.
